Damage
Renters are responsible for any damage to the vehicle’s exterior, tires, interior, and contents during the rental. Before leaving, please inspect the camper for any unreported damage and notify us via email with photos. We recommend taking photos or videos upon return. By signing the agreement, you authorize Far-Out Campervans to charge your card for repairs, admin fees, and potential revenue loss.
Cancellations
Standard Cancellation Policy:
30+ days before pickup: 100% refund or no rescheduling fee
Less than 30 days: No refund, no rescheduling
Festival Policy
We’re festival friendly but don’t allow rentals for Burning Man.
Driver’s License Restrictions
Renters must have a valid full driver’s license from their home country, province, or state. Learner’s Permits, Graduated, or Novice licenses are not accepted. If this causes a cancellation, fees apply.

Fuel
The camper will be full when you pick it up. Please return it full. If you don’t, we’ll charge for fuel plus a $50 service fee.

Accidents and Breakdowns
In an emergency, call 911. If the damage exceeds $2,000, a police report is required. For breakdowns, call the roadside assistance number above. If mechanical issues arise, we’ll try to resolve them via phone or send a technician if within 200 km. If necessary, we’ll provide another campervan, subject to availability. The renter is responsible for any incidental costs.
Dog Policy
Dogs are allowed with an extra cleaning fee.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the campervan. Any smoke odors will incur an $800 cleaning fee.
Age Restriction
Renters must be 25 or older to rent a campervan.
Pickup and Drop Off
Pickup is after 12pm. Early pick-up is available for an extra fee. Drop off must be by 4pm on the last rental day. A $200/hr late fee will apply for late returns.
