Yes, the canopy can be taken on and off by unbolting and using aftermarket jacks.

The 5.5 ft full size unit weighs 650 lbs, the 6.5 ft unit weighs 730 lbs, the 8 ft unit weights 800 lbs.

The Far-Out Camper is built to fit on a majority of pickup trucks including full size 5.5, 6.5 and 8 ft trucks as well as Tacoma 5 and 6 foot beds. However, there are some limitations. Contact us for more information on sizing.

Lead time is dependant on truck bed length but ranges from 2 weeks to 10 weeks.

The roof can support 600lbs for the full size campers.

It sleeps four people on the two beds.
